The latest Extender update includes several important features that will make the general functionality easier and allow increased scalability.
UPDATES INCLUDE
Connection to new Core and Guardian firmware
The new Extender firmware allows faster and easier setup of the Extender system with OLAS app integration.
2 x Extenders can now be seamlessly connected increasing the potential vessel length which can be covered to 100 ft.
Scaling the OLAS system up
The number of OLAS transmitters that can be tracked has increased to 25. This enhances the ability for crew safety and crew management on larger vessels where there is a higher potential for an MOB going unnoticed.
Connect 2 Extenders
Extenders can now be connected to scale your OLAS system up to vessels of 100ft.
Each Extender adds around 25 ft range in a linear direction.
The Extenders can connect directly to the Core or Guardian, or you can connect 1 Extender to the Core / Guardian and the second Extender can transfer the OLAS tag data via the first Extender, daisy chaining the data flow.
