The pinnacle of helmet mounted lights, the rider-requested Zenith has now reached even higher levels. Upgraded to 2200 lumens, with a long reaching, wider, diffused beam for more than an hour. Combined with TAP technology, the rapid mode change technology, the rider can use the 2200 lumens when plummeting down a steep, fast descent or tackling a technical trail and then TAP to lower the lumens when on the flat or a climb to increase the run time.

Quickly switch between modes on helmet lights by tapping either the body of the light or the helmet without needing to locate the function button for fast control to match the pace of the trail. Three sensitivities allow greater versatility.
Various programs in the lights can easily be selected to offer a choice of run times and modes so you can find the right one for your ride, be it an all-night adventure or an intense blast.
Patented circuitry within the light will reduce power to the LEDs, if they go beyond the optimum temperature, keeping the light as efficient as possible to maximise output and battery capacity. Once the light has cooled, the power is automatically restored.

This new Zenith MK3 is an engineering marvel. Another 10 percent brighter than last year. But the same size. It recharges quickly and easily. I have been running it on high to get to work each morning and I can get an hour easily, lots of time to run through a very dark Stanley Park without any issues. The beam pattern is perfect, lighting up the trails without having to slow down for the light to “catch up”. Coyotes scatter well in advance. [They will bite if they can catch you.]. I have even run two to compare in the dark - last year’s model and this years. The new model is a vast improvement. On the way home, given daylight, the flashing mode is bright, and on the street, other bikers and vehicles are well alerted. It looks great, attracts many compliments and inquires, is lightweight, and one can easily wonder where all the components and circuitry fit. One tip if I may: order the Handlebar Bracket Set 35.0mm - 31.8mm - too. It easily attaches to a front handlebar and locks into place. Then the Zenith snugly and securely locks into place. Part EXPQRBKSET. Inexpensive and it “locks” the light into place. I never worry about the light falling out. For commuting in the dark hours, or even a mild trail ride, this light has more than one needs. You can’t do better. You see and are seen. A sense of complete visibility envelopes. This is simply a star. A purchase that is rock solid, waterproof and great value for the money. Spend it little more than “competing” lights to get real quality. Stupendous build quality and truly a treasure.
